waterproof cast padding
AquaCast Rolls allow for improved skin health and increased patient satisfaction. Made from breathable, waterproof expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) often referred to as Gore-Tex®, AquaCast Liner is used on upper & lower extremity casts.

hip-SPICA & BODY CASTs
Hipster Pantaloon Liners lower the incidence of skin excoriation, allowing for a better patient experience. The waterproof liner creates a barrier between the skin and fiberglass used in hip spica casts and other body casts including Mehta casts.

cast removal aids
Saw Stop® DE-FLEX® strips increase patient safety by providing another layer of protection against cuts and burns from cast saw blades. Zip Sticks provide similar protection and are available in two sizes.

waterproof cast TRAINING & education
Waterproof Casting is quickly becoming the standard in healthcare because of the increased awareness to wash hands. Application of AquaCast padding is easy as the casting fundamentals are similar to traditional materials.
Because each patient is unique, cast application is part science and part art. AquaCast strives to ensure that cast application specialists are provided with an opportunity to receive standardized, hands-on training by certified AquaCast Liner experts. These sessions can be provided at your facility, in a convenient nearby setting, or virtually via Zoom. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for OT-C, ROT, ATC, MA and other application specialists. Please contact us to learn more. |
